Koto Chikage will be performing at "Nishi Bunka Small Theatre x Nishi Ward Elementary School Todoke Ongaku (Nagoya Municipal Kami Nagoya Elementary School)".
We will be delivering music to Nagoya City Kaminagoya Elementary School as part of the event: "Todoke Ongaku! (Deliver Music!)" organized by the Nishi Culture Small Theater and Nishi Ward Elementary Schools. Nagoya City Kaminagoya Elementary School is the alma mater of Tamiko Asai, the Iemoto (Grand Master) of the Koto Chikage.

Launching the 2026 Asia Collection® Social Contribution Cambodia Project
As part of her social contribution activities, Rie Asai has previously provided poverty support to the Kingdom of Cambodia, including the construction of 250 wells. These aid activities were temporarily suspended to focus specifically on supporting Ukraine and other causes, but they will be restarted from 2026.

Koto Chikage Association Member to Instruct Japanese Culture Class at Junior High School
On Friday, November 14, 2025, as part of the annual "Japanese Culture Experience" classes for first-year students at Osaka Municipal Yuhigaoka Junior High School, Kaori Murakami of the Koto Chikage (Soukyoku Chikagenokai) will once again serve as an instructor. Under the curriculum guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japanese traditional music (Hōgaku) is a required subject in junior high school music classes, with pages dedicated to koto music (Sōkyoku) in textbooks. Instructors from Koto Chikage-no-kai are teaching students about Sōkyoku, which cannot be fully covered through regular music lessons alone.
