The other day, a mother and daughter from Canada visited our shrine to experience wearing traditional Miko and Shinto priest attire. The daughter arrived already dressed beautifully in a kimono and hakama, and she was even able to speak a little Japanese. It was clear how deeply interested she was in Japanese culture.When we asked where she had learned how to dress herself in kimono, she told us that she had learned through social media.
