Experience a once-in-a-lifetime cultural concert in the heart of Japan.
Renowned koto artist Rie Asai collaborates with Austrian violinist Birgit Kolar, former concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, for a stunning cross-cultural performance that blends traditional Japanese music with Western classical influences.
Enjoy iconic works such as “Haru no Umi (Spring Sea)” by Michio Miyagi and “Kojo no Tsuki” by Rentaro Taki, alongside original compositions and serene prayers for peace.
The concert takes place in the Keiko Room (Performance Hall), Nagoya Noh Theater, a serene and acoustically rich setting perfect for this intimate musical experience.

Brigit Kolar
ビルギット•コーラー
Austrian violinist and former concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. She has studied under Rainer Küchl and Gerhard Schulz, and has performed globally as a soloist and chamber musician. She has also toured Japan with the Vienna Philharmonic and Toyota Master Players, Vienna. Since 2003, she has been a faculty member at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
